Welcome to Tomahawk Elementary- Home of the Tigers!

Located on the border between Prairie Village and Overland Park, our school has been uniting the community since 1955.  Our Mission, “Together we learn for a better tomorrow,” reflects this spirit of inclusivity.  Serving nearly 300 students in kindergarten through sixth grade, we take pride in creating a safe environment where everyone feels connected and challenged each day.  It is my honor and privilege to support the students, staff, and families at Tomahawk; and I am committed to continuing the longstanding legacy of moving forward as one.
